pcmanfm segv seemingly only on nfs mounted directories

I'm noticing on all our odroid-c2 clients running:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')richard@odroid-001e06336dd6:/etc$ uname -a

segfaults after awhile when selected into an NFS mounted directory:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
