[Odroid C2] Kodi 17 suddenly black screen but sound works

Hi,

I'm running Arch on my Odroid C2 and installed Kodi, which works fine for some minutes, but then suddenly the screen is getting black. Sound works still fine and I can control it with over my Android Tablet. It is just the screen.

I already tried clearing the cache and enabling/disabling amcodec. Which didn't help. Maybe dmesg helps. I copied the part, when it suddenly turns black.

Anyone any ideas?

I had that exact same problem. What helped for me in solving the issue was to edit my boot.ini. I changed

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '# Default Console Device Setting
setenv condev "console=ttyS0,115200n8 console=tty0" # on both

to
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '# Default Console Device Setting
setenv condev "console=ttyS0,115200n8 console=tty0 consoleblank=0" # on both
')
and rebooted. Haven't seen the issue since.
