Le Potato board (AML-S905X-CC) install

Postby florin » Sat Mar 09, 2019 12:17 pm

Hi,

I have managed to install Arch on the Le Potato https://libre.computer/products/boards/aml-s905x-cc/ board.
I have used the ArchLinuxARM-odroid-c2-latest.tar.gz archive because it uses the same SoC.
Writing it directly on the SD card was possible but the partition was destroyed later trying to writhe the u-boot image.
I have succeeded by using an armbian installed SD card where I have deleted all the directories in the root partition (except the boot one) and decompressing the Arch archive there.
The install works just fine now, only the uboot install have to be kept (from the armbian previous install) in order to boot.
A uboot-lepotato package is needed in order to have a full port to this platform.
Any volunteer?

Regards,
