Odroid N2, disable silent boot?

Postby Screamy » Fri Jul 19, 2019 8:25 pm

The Odroid N2 doesn't output any boot-time information during startup. When you power up the device, you see a solid purple screen, then it goes black, and then after five or six seconds you're at a login prompt. I much prefer to see output during startup, in case of any issues or failures.

Anyone know if there is some option I can set in /boot/boot.ini that will disable 'silent boot'? Or is this just an artifact of HDMI-only output, where the HDMI interface isn't available early enough in the boot cycle?

I know your message is already a couple of months old... but in case you (or anybody) is still looking for an answer, check this page of the Odroid N2 wiki:

Easy fix to see your boot messages...
