apache and corrupted cifs-mounts in RPI4 - aarch64

Postby hp4 » Wed Feb 17, 2021 4:36 pm

Hi,
I've installed the apache server on several RPIs and now I'm facing a strange problem with aarch64:

I'm trying to download an jpeg-file from

/<apache-document-root>/<mount-point>/<jpeg-file>

The directory <mount-point> maybe a cifs-mount or a symbolic link to a cifs-mount.

now starting the download of the image with a browser or wget yields

RPI3 with debian : correct image file
RPI4 with archlinuxarm-32Bit : correct image file
RPI4 with aarch64 : corrupted image file !!!!!

Some binary garbage seams to be prepended and appended to the file-content on aarch64.

apache-log-files don't show an error.
wget shows the information:
HTTP-Anforderung gesendet, auf Antwort wird gewartet … 200 Keine Header, vermutlich ist es HTTP/0.9.

Displaying the image of the mounted filesystem with gwenview works fine!

So the problem seems to be: only with aarch64 and only when accessed via apache on a cifs-mount

Any idea what might be wrong?

Thanks
Hans-Peter
