green led continuously blinking twice on RPI4b

Hello all --
I have installed arch linux arm aarch64 on a RPI4b (4GB) and after bootup the green LED continuously flashes two times. I have tried two different Samsung EVO 32gb SD cards (both new) with the same result.
The system seems to run normal but the flashing LED concerns me. Could there be a problem with two new SD cards? The first SD card ended up failing completely and can't be recognized on any of my devices (arch linux desktop, Windows 8.1 laptop, etc..)

I'm not having this problem with Manjaro 64bit on a similar SD card. Also Raspberry Pi OS 64 bit is working fine on a different RPI4b.

My boot partition is formatted 200MB. Any possibility that the size is the problem?

Any ideas?

UPDATE: I loaded aarch64 onto another Samsung EVO 32GB SD card -- one that was working fine with an older 32bit version on it and I get the same thing. Green LED continuously blinking twice.
