[RPi4] Kodi breaks if pipewire is installed

kodi-rpi works great when not using pipewire. But if you have pipewire installed, sound is completely absent (both from GUI and playback) and when you start playback, it freezes after a few seconds.

Is this a known problem? Is there a way to make Kodi work with Pipewire?

Is this kodi-rpi or kodi-rpi-git? I have not tried using pipewire, just adjusted the PKGBUILD to match the AL PKGBUILD. Any debugging info in your kodi.log? Have you tried inserting this into /etc/conf.d/kodi-standalone
