[SOLVED]"sudo: raspi-config: command not found" - piKVM@RPi4

Postby blufade » Fri Oct 06, 2023 10:41 am

Hi,

I am running piKVM on a raspberry pi 4.
Problem : I get the subject mentioned response when I run "sudo raspi-config" .
Intent : To be able to change booting from sdcard & usb stick.

I need help with installing the "raspi-config" package or an alternate means to achieve my above intent.

Thank you.

raspi-config is an RPiOS specific tool. Arch ARM does not use it.

After digging through RPi4 documentation, found a solution here -->https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/raspberry-pi.html#raspberry-pi-4-bootloader-configuration

Basically I had to run the command "rpi-eeprom-config --edit", and then change the BOOT_ORDER code to 0xf41.

I am going to go ahead and edit the subject as the issue has been solved.

Thanks you for your response.
