odroid-c2 black screen after reboot

i had rebooted a few times before this but today i booted it to nothing. the red and blue lights show up, the Ethernet lights up but doesn't blink, and doesn't show up on the network router. Not really sure how to debug this, would there be some kind of log i could find somewhere on the file system? I know i'm not the only one with this issue because someone posted about this on the odroid forums but they told the other guy to try here.
