Odroid-C2: Standard ArchLinux ARM gcc or gcc-linaro?

Postby wdirksen » Thu Dec 22, 2016 12:59 am

Hello Anyone,

I am about to embark on a weekend in trying to port Mali openGLES drivers to QT5 initially using this guide:
http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?t=24785

Before I get started, Does it make sense to use gcc-linaro over the standard Arch ARM gcc lib's to compile for Odroid-C2 as as the guide suggests? Obviously I will try both if needed but hoping someone here knows which is best to use before I get into unnecessary error laden territory. Thanks.

BTW: If I am successful I will submit a tutorial to port ODroid-C2's Mali openGLES libs into QT5-base for Odroid-C2 in Arch ARM

We strongly suggest using the native chains for complete compatibility.

I got this to build with native gcc indeed. See:
