Hi, all:
I just got my Chromebook Plus and tried to install ArchLinux Arm to a USB stick. I followed the guide here https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv8/rockchip/samsung-chromebook-plus, but it failed with step 8 and 9, say, it complained an error at step 8 and hanged on "Writing superblocks and filesystem accounting information" at step 9:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
localhost / # partx -a /dev/sda
partx: /dev/sda: error adding partitions 1-2
localhost / # mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda2
mke2fs 1.43.6 (29-Aug-2017)

And the guide says:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')8. Tell the system to refresh what it knows about the disk partitions:
partx -a /dev/sda
9. Format the root partition:
mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda2
