KVM on Acer Chromebook R13

Postby bolke » Tue Feb 05, 2019 3:52 pm

Hi all,
i installed archlinux for the Acer Chromebook R13 as described in the manual. It works.
After that i built a new Kernel with the PKGBUILD src from linux-oak package.
I set all KVM/Virtualization to yes. The new installed kernel boots fine and if i run :
zgrep KVM /proc/config.gz i get
CONFIG_HAVE_KVM_IRQCHIP=y
CONFIG_KVM_MMIO=y
CONFIG_HAVE_KVM_CPU_RELAX_INTERCEPT=y
CONFIG_KVM=y
CONFIG_KVM_ARM_HOST=Y
CONFIG_KVM_ARM_MAX_VCPUS=4
CONFIG_KVM_ARM_VGIC=y
CONFIG_KVM_ARM_TIMER=y

So the kvm options are all enabled in the kernel.
But when i run ls /dev | grep kvm nothing show up.
Does anyone know how to enable kvm on the Acer Chromebook r13?
