Raspi3: No USB support

I setup a RasPI 3 according to https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv8/broadcom/raspberry-pi-3 with the Aarch64 image.
However no USB devices are being detected. A USB pen drive and a USB keyboard are plugged into the device:

The Wiki page at https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv8/broadcom/raspberry-pi-3 does not mention any problems regarding USB with this device. Also searchig the internet and the forums did not yield any known issue.
Do I miss some configuration or is my hardware broken?

reboot, run a dmesg -wT in another terminal, and then plugin the devices, and post the new logs from dmesg here.
Also I propose to retest with the ArchLinuxARM-rpi-2-latest.tar.gz image - this is probably more stable.
