It's possible to run Arch Linux ARM on a Nanopc T4.

Follow instructions from https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... hip/rock64.
In step 3. a. you have to replace o with g to create a GPT partition table.
For steps 7 and 9 you have to compile u-boot, to create boot.scr, idbloader.img, uboot.img and trust.img. See https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUIL ... 1728/files for details.

Since kernel 5.2 login prompt is shown after about 3min, so you should be patient.

What about Nanopi M4, would the procedure be similar?

I don't know. But it looks like it could work. Of course, you have to build u-boot for NanoPi M4.

Yesss @nano your instructions worked perfectly!
My NanoPi M4 booted and works fine. It was not easy because I'm new to Arch and actually had to learn quite a bit first (coming from Debian).
Now the next goal is to make desktop/Panfrost working...

@nano, You may want to update the Uboot.

AFAIK, the idbloader method of upstream U-boot won't initialize the LPDDR4 ram properly, until v2019.10 tags.

Thanks.
