My Pipo W12 has a Snapdragon 850 and can run WSL apps with a fully native armv8 stack (no emulation), but I can't seem to install any linux distro as a dual boot on the machine. Grub is able to load the kernel, but the machine reboots after initrd, without showing any errors or other details. Setting kernel parameter "debug=all" shows events before the failure/reboot, but everything there looks normal.
This machine has no specific support from any distro that I can find, so it's not surprising that it doesn't work. But is there a way I can find out what specifically is causing the reboot? It would be useful to know, for a certain ISO, whether it has major incompatibility with the CPU/chipset, or if there is just some tiny configuration tweak that would allow it to proceed.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!
