Kodi using 100% CPU

I have a fresh install of arch on my rpi4 and kodi is using all my CPU's on H264 playback 1080p

More details are needed but I am guessing that you're not using hw accel docoding. Did you add the lines to /boot/config.txt as directed by pacman's post install message?

I was having exact the same problem the other day after upgrading. Turns out I had no sound device present. My monitor has no sound over HDMI so I had to plug in a USB audio adapter and everything was working again.
