Greetings! Big fan of Arch Linux here
I found out that the kukui Chromebook platform is well supported and have a really strong community support these days, many friends of mine from all kinds of arm-linux-distros community have got one of this devices, personally I would say it might be the most popular arm-chromebook these days
For example, i found a post here, under this forum, turns out that there was a request post for this device approx. 2years ago:make_clickable_callback(MAGIC_URL_LOCAL, ' ', 'https://archlinuxarm.org/forum', 'viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16348,', ' class="postlink-local"') although it might be a relatively dull topic under this forum, but there are over 40k views for this single ‘Lenovo 10e Chromebook’ support request which is on kukui platform it self, which means that it sure should be a very popular and actively device in the community and many of us would be thrilled to see it being supported if possible
And there are already all kinds of documents even prebuilt kernel out there for this device so maybe the difficulty of supporting this device would be relatively lower, especially postmarketOS has a great support for it as a major device and there are all kinds of files from gotten repo of postmarketOS repositories , what’s more, one of the major maintainers of pmOS claimed that I quote “ it actually may be the most daily-drived device we have supported in pmOS (although who knows?), and it's well supported (see wiki). People have quite regular use-cases for it like "main tablet device".” endquote, under a merge request I opened days ago, links below:make_clickable_callback(MAGIC_URL_FULL, ' ', 'https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/merge_requests/5254', '', ' class="postlink"')
Hence, it might really be a great boost for archlinuxarm community, and for me and the guys owns one of this machine, I sincerely hope that this device could be supported by archlinux some day if possible as I personally consider that archlinux is really a very advanced distro, so does many of us, thanks in advanced.
Sincerely & Best Regards
