I just received my ODROID-C2 and installed alarm. Everything went smoothly.
Unfortunate to report, however, the Amlogic S905 SoC used in it does not support AArch64's crypto extensions as you can see from the Features list below.

If you are looking for an AArch64 board that does supporth the crypto extensions, the only one I've found so far is the HiKey over at 96Boards (https://www.96boards.org/products/ce/hikey/). That board has a HiSilicon Kirin 620 SoC.
