$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('andiling', 'U')se a Debian distribution in that case as they have aarch64 packages of Kodi. Running aarch32 on aarch64 is generally possible but you need all libs used by Kodi in aarch32 as well.

So our aarch64 repos do not contain kodi pre-built then? I do not like Debian :)

As per here not: https://archlinuxarm.org/packages

I guess the RPi3 is a good option either...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'T')heir kernel sources _do_not_ compile for ARMv8 aarch64, but only ARMv7.

So with the recent release of kernel 4.5 and the upcoming 4.6 that both are supposed to boot on the Raspberry Pi, are the kernel sources of the foundation still required at all? Doesn't that open the door for Aarch64?

Boot does not mean fully functional.

So, I know less than nothing about all this, but according to these things:

https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/issues/579

https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... &start=125

It looks like Aarch64 is now possible?
