Memory stick pro duo support

Postby KingDuckZ » Mon Nov 12, 2012 11:59 am

Hello, I've plugged an usb memory card reader with a sony memory stick pro duo into my Raspberry, but I was disappointed to see no new device popped under /dev. The same memory stick worked just fine on my laptop with Sabayon Linux.
From what I gather from ricoh-kernel readme the kernel I have (3.2.27-13-ARCH+) should already have support for that. Can somebody help please?

In that readme I get worried that lspci was used, no pci on raspberrypi
Plug it into your laptop and copy the part of dmesg that related to it.
1/ it might not be included in config file
2/ it might not be included in upstream source https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux
If 2/ then you will have to request here https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues
