Why doesn't pacman follow my instructions ?
With Archlinux x86_64 the command is honored.
Beside that is pretty absurd to download so much data while 90% is already in the computer. So delta packaging might be a good thing to save time and bandwidth.

The package name is `linux-armv7` on your ALARM. On x86, it is `linux`. You have to specify the correct value :)

You can also just use wildcard "linux*". Because you also don't want to update the headers if you keep the kernel
