The kernel provided by Raspberry Pi OS works, so I'm not sure if they'll help me.

Funny enough the linux-aarch64 kernel works just fine!

I might be missing a config option for the keyboard. Did any of my 5.19.y series of kernel work on your 400?

Can you boot into the official Arch ARM linux-rpi package (5.15.y) and verify functionality? Then post the output of lsmod for me

5.15.70-2 also have this problem. linux-aarch64-5.19.8-1 does not.
Not sure if I did test 5.19. Is that still available?

I dont get it... I've tried multiple of the old kernels now (going back to linux-rpi-5.15.68-2) and it still have the same problem. I KNOW that it worked just a couple of days ago so perhaps the kernel is just a red herring.

You could use ALA to test this... setup your mirrorlist to point to the date that reflects the packages that you knew to be working. Then run pacman -Syyuu to force the downgrade.

Thank you!
I've found the culprit! alarm/raspberrypi-bootloader is to blame! 20220927-1 works, while 20220930-1 fucks it up.

Does 20221005-1 work? If not, please open a bug report against upstream.

EDIT: ah, I see you did: https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/issues/1754

20221005-2 incorporates upstream's fix. Should hit a mirror soon.
