We'll use whatever version the RPF is calling stable for the official package.

any chance to add these changes in the config from your builds?

Why do you want 1000Hz tick rate?

Most users won't want the faster tick rate... you can compile a custom kernel with real time audio stuff beyond the tick rate. There are patchsets out there to help.

Yeah I'll look at some patches as well. Distcc runs fine anyway, no issue to build it once in a while.

If you have a more powerful Arch Linux box, look into the aarch64-linux-gnu cross compiler unless you need the headers package to work with dkms.
