Hello,

I'm working on package updates for ODROID XU3/XU4/HC1/HC2/MC1 (U-Boot and kernel first) and i want to do that in the right way then submit PRs. I have read the different wiki pages but I still have some questions.

What is a "clean" chroot? I have read many messages regarding the locales problem with the "clean" chroot for example (i get many perl warnings in logs). If I correct this locales problem on my chroot, will it still be "clean"?
Are there any special kernel settings for Arch Linux ARM kernels (beyond CONFIG_LOCALVERSION="-ARCH")? I looked at several .config files provided with the PKGBUILDs but it is difficult to deduce a guideline.
How are images (for example ArchLinuxARM-odroid-xu3-latest.tar.gz) made (personal curiosity :) )?
Can I offer ready-made packages to have users test them before submitting PRs?
