Cortex A15 Development Boards

Postby Enverex » Wed Oct 24, 2012 12:06 pm

I've been looking for boards to play with that have GPIO and the Raspberry Pi is quite nice for this purpose, but I've been looking for something with a little more power to play about with too (also with GPIO).

Now the Odroid-X is nice, has full 50 pin GPIO and it's a quad core A9 with quad core graphics but from what I can tell, the next gen A15s should be out soon, if not already. My question is, does anyone know anything about planned development boards for this next gen SOC setup? (along the same lines as the Pandaboard, Odroid-X, etc)?

Considering what's promised in the next chip (power and power draw) it seems worth waiting for, but the news about releases seems oddly quiet right now.

The Arndaleboard could be what you are looking for: http://www.arndaleboard.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

Although i have no idea if it has any GPIO.
Also it costs the same as the new google chromebook with the same SoC.
