Changed Permissions will Not Boot on POGO

Postby snakepit28 » Sun Jan 05, 2014 12:56 am

Hi-

In order to copy files faster....
I turned off my pogoplug and put the USB drive on a ubuntu machine. The ubuntu machine required me to change permissions to be able to copy files to the bootable device.
I changed permissions and moved the files.
Now I try to boot the POGO and nothing happens.
Any thoughts?

Become root
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
sudo su
')

And do it from a CLI, like you are supposed to.

Thanks for the info. The problem is the command line won't even boot anymore to become root.

How else could i run the root command , outside arch ?

did you change permissions on everything or just the files you needed to copy?

I meant become root on the ubuntu install you were using to edit the filesystem.
