Hello everyone,

I'm new to the Arch Linux-arm community, I used the excellent manual and WiKi to install Arch Linux on my Raspberry-Pi 3, and thought I will share my thought on the experience.

The manual is written great, but I think the classification of the platforms could use a little fix. First of all, I didn't know at first that there will be a difference between the different versions of Raspberry-Pis, so when I used my search engine to find explanations on how to install this distribution on a Raspberry-Pi, I reached this page:

https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6/raspberry-pi

It took me quite a while to realise that I need to download a different tar file for Raspberry-Pi 3, avaiable here: https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... berry-pi-3 . I think it should be noted in the 1st page (for armv6), that it is good for Raspberry-Pi 2 only.
