Introduction!

Hi, folks. My name's Don. I'm relatively new to the Linux scene, but I'm enjoying it so far. I've installed GalliumOS on an Acer C720 and was impressed by it (I'm typing this right now from there!), and I thought I'd take a Utilite I got in 2013 as a desktop web browsing and word processing and see if I could install Arch on it and use it with a wireless keyboard/trackpad combo as a video streaming and retro gaming device.

I showed up here because I'm having trouble with the kernel I got from the installation instructions being too old. Is my question even in the right place?

I thought I'd say hello, too!

edit: Oh, and I'm getting an error from the forum when I try to update my profile!
