I wanted to run an Xterm session in an Win RDP window (on GoFlex Home) and got a way down the line but the compilation process broke down a long way into the process. (I did get an X-Window up and running on my [Win 7] Lappietop.)
I could have (allegedly) done this with an intermediary program, but really wanted it as lean as possible (these little things haven't got a lot of horse power).
But a direct GUI (and not slow and clunky Webmin) would be ideal. CLI is all well and good for the coder-types but the rest of us don't want to be doing all that typing...

Oh yes, the intermediary approach was to use VNC - but couldn't understand why I'd want to add more "middleware"...

FWIW - I juist came across something looks like I was looking for in MobaXterm.
Windows program for all my drag and drop files on the host!
Here's a snapshot of Win7 side-by-side windows to sort my files out:

What exactly you're using it in Win7 for? Like Xplorer2 ?
