keepalived on Raspberry Pi

Hi there.

I need some help setting up keepalived on my Raspberry Pi. The packages keepalived and ipvsadm are available from the repositoroy, but unfortunately I am not able to find and load the Kernel module 'ip_vs'.
Several questions which might lead to a solution:
-is the module already in an install-able package?
-how could I build myself this single Kernel module on my Raspberry Pi itself? I already did a git clone of the RPi Kernel but don't know how to compile a single module. (Note to self: check google too)
-somebody has another idea, any kind of idea even using something other than keepalived?
