vdr

I had compiled vdr-1.7.18 with coopehead patcheset for pogoplug pro and it streams great. I have issues with vdr-1.7.19 it seems not to work. There seems to be a lotst of info on runing vdr on arm based devices in german so I wonder if there is any intrest for vdr and plugins. I am trying to create atsc plugin at it seems not avaiable from archvdr.

Since it is not a stable release, possibly contact a mailing list of their devs?

Put the PKGBUILD and other files to build somewhere and I can grab them for the build system.

Can you tell me how to get vdr to the pogoplug pro?
I want to install a vdr-server with sundtek dvb-c stick on my pogo, but don't know arch linux very well.

Would be nice, if you could help me!

@benni
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VDR
You will have to run makepkg with the option -A.
I don't use the archvdr packages myself. My rather minimal setup of VDR on the DockStar is documented here.
Btw: In case of problems concerning the dvb-c stick http://support.sundtek.com/ should help.

Hi,

Sorry to open an old topic. I'm trying to make a headless VDR with the XVDR plugin on an iConnect, to stream to my HTPC setup running XMBC and a XVDR frontend. Ive tried the offical builds from ARCHVDR and although I can get audio, no video.

Tempted to try the above link but having skimmed over it, my question is this: To install the addition packages I require, do I just need to retain a comply of the compiled packages I've made from the ArchVDR PKGBUILDS?

Im fairly new to linux to please excuse my ignorance!

@Tritron : As I have a very similar setup, could you possibly point me in the right direction? I have installed VDR, XVDR and although they connect, and there are no obvious errors in the log, the channel list is corrupted and also I can only get audio. no video.

Thank You in advance!
