Transmission SOCKS5

Hello guys, greetings.

I have recently installed Archlinux ARMv5 on my Goflex Home.

I have also successfully installed Transmission for my p2p activity.

However I'm stuck behind a firewall and cannot communicate to the trakers.

Here's what I do on windows (using utorrent) :

use puTTY to connect to my shellmix a/c , creating an ssh tunnel to bypass the firewall

then use SOCKS5 settings in the utorrent connection settings.


I was hoping if something similar could be achieved on archlinux.

So I am looking for similar settings on Archlinux ...any other client than Transmission will also do. But has to have a webUI
