GoFlex Home DynDNS to Seagateshare.com

I just wanted to know if updating from stock firmware to archlinux will stop the GoFlex Home from updating its IP address on seagateshare.

Normally its <goflex-name>.seagateshare.com redirects to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

If not is there a way to manually update it?

You can use various DynDNS scripts, afraid.org etc.
