Netatalk 3.0: avahi not working

I just installed ALARM on my new Pogoplug E02. I updated archlinux with pacman and using systemd now. Now i have problems to get avahi working. I created an netatalk share and can connect to it manually but its not shown automatically. Does anyone has an idea what could be the problem? netatal dbus and avah deamons are all running.

Hello,

I am having the same issue. Doh! I can access it if I manually connect via IP address but the discovery component from avahi doesn't seen to be working. I even compared it to my other server which is running 3.X netatalk (which does have discovery working) and all the settings/configs are the same (aside from names / directories).

I have tried:

-with and without a 'mimic model'
-uncommenting 'enable-dbus=yes' in avahi-daemon.conf
-enabling guest access 'uams_guest.so'
-re-setting up netatalk step by step based on wiki

Suggestions would be appreciated!
