How to mount ArchLinuxARM-olinuxino-latest.img.gz

Postby mwpowellhtx » Wed Mar 27, 2013 9:06 pm

Hello,

I am trying to get at a rootfs baseline. We'll add some resources to it for our final distro, but we'd like a baseline rootfs to start with.

I've downloaded the ArchLinuxARM-olinuxino-latest.img.gz file for our ARM. This is an IMG for an entire 2 GB SD card, apparently, which is fine, but I just want the rootfs from it.

Is there a Linux way of mounting the IMG and seeing its "partitions"? Or is there a better way to build out a virgin rootfs?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Michael Powell
