Installing DokuWiki on Beagle Bone Black with Apache WORKS!

Postby archsidhu » Thu Jul 11, 2013 1:18 am

Installed dokuwiki and lighttpd, multiple times, on a BBB via "pacman -S" command. The installation goes smooth. Also followed the script here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dokuwiki

Going to http://<ip>/dokuwiki/install.php gets me connection refused error. Checked and triple checked all the config files - lighttpd.conf, php.ini and fastcgi.conf Although the instructions do not say anything about configuring the dokuwiki.conf file for the lighttpd server. Think I'll try that.

a. Why connection refused error? Does Arch arm come with a firewall? Another thing to look at.
b. Do I need to install anything else?

That should be dokuwiki.php and it seems all the settings get populated when the install.php is run.

Read through lighhtpd wiki first. Installation is not enough, you need to run lighhtpd and setup php in lighhtpd config

OK, tried Apache and get the following error when restarting httpd

apachectl[1985]: Syntax error on line 7 of /etc/httpd/conf/extra/dokuwiki.conf:
apachectl[1985]: Invalid command 'php_admin_value', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included...

UNCLE! I give up

Yea the error means php or some other related item is not installed. php, php-fpm, php-cgi are installed.

My head hurts

Same thing here. Installation is not enough. Did you read wiki? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/LAMP#PHP
