Error when upgrading systemd-sysvcompat

Postby chris5h » Wed Aug 05, 2015 5:37 pm

I get an error every time I try to run a pacman -Syu

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)

systemd-sysvcompat: /usr/share/man/man8/telinit.8.gz exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

I am not sure what i did to cause this. If anyone can offer a suggestion fora fix I would appreciate it.

TIA.

sounds like it is time for an fsck, and possibly, just possibly, a --force.
