Please help me installing OS on one chinese tablet

Hi there.
I have device which uses WM8505. It`s not mine. It had Windows CE, but it was broken.
I have tried to put other OS and now it does show only black screen ;(
Can i use arch linux arm for x6-7v netbook/tablet?
Can someone post a good howto for this?
I dont have a lot of requirements for the OS. Just to work.

We have no official support for that specific SoC (WM8505), but it appears to be an armv5te, but here is a very old thread that might help
