Problem with splash screen

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Plymouth and splash screen, for school, i have to make a custom kernel with splash screen but when i follow the tutorial at the end i got this : and i have to reboot and use a snapshot.
It's a VM on VMWare workstation 12 and i use the last version of plymouth.
