Postby amberteresa » Wed Aug 08, 2018 12:47 pm

How can I boot with a read only root? If I add ro to the mount options in fstab for / I still get a rw mountet /.
Any suggestions?

I suppose you should pass it as a kernel parameter, eg root=/dev/mmcblk0p2,ro

I presume that it may fail to boot in read only mode. Why do you want that ?
