First off, I'm just starting to dig into arch on arm and, while my main system is arch, I'm not exactly a power user so please forgive my cluelessness.
I've been consulting archlinuxarm.org/packages to check what packages have been compiled to work on arm, and I've ran across an astonishing variety of packages that are "green", which seems to indicate they are fully functioning on various arm architectures. Is that the case? I looked at the change logs and saw "x86_64" appended to every message for kdenlive, which confused me.
Are Kdenlive and Blender really fully ported to arm? Does that mean they should function properly on any properly set up arch-arm device? Are there any caveats which would limit their performance?
I am trying to do some video editing on an extended backpacking trip, and if I could run real video editing software from a smartphone that would be hugely helpful. I know that's not the typical use case here, but if you guys could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.
