I did moonman's suggestion and it works for me.

Grab Orangepi5_1.0.6_ubuntu_focal_server_linux5.10.110.7z from http://www.orangepi.org/html/hardWare/c ... -pi-5.html

Write the image to a microSD card.

Backup /usr/lib/modules/5.10.110-rockchip-rk3588 into a tarball
Clear out the root partition (i.e. mmcblk1p2)

Grab http://os.archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLinux ... est.tar.gz
https://github.com/orangepi-xunlong/ora ... ec_usb2.sh
Extract it into the root partition
Update /etc/fstab with the root partition (so it mounts read-write)

Extract the tarball with the kernel modules.

Note: you may also want to backup the /usr/local/bin/typec_usb2.sh
https://github.com/orangepi-xunlong/ora ... ec_usb2.sh
