kernel 4.1.19-v7+ vs linux-raspberrypi-4.1.20-3

Hello everyone,

thanks for taking the time to read this.

I just installed alarm on my rpi and I'm a bit puzzled abouot the linux version vs the supposedly installed one.
I'm using the image for Platform->ARMv6.
On boot up the error message about failed modules and the fact that neither mouse nor keyboard are working in X along with the missing /dev/input/eventXX nodes led me to investigate..

Why is uname telling me the kernel is 4.1.19-v7+ when 4.1.20 is installed ?

I tried

Did you run any package such as raspi-config or rpi-update?

You should be using out kernel packages from the distribution.

Also, make sure /boot is mounted.

thanks for the fast reply.

No I used neither raspi-config nor rpi-update. I untared the tarball as per instructions, ran a pacman -Syu [nothing to be done], installed X.
I've added the root partition to fstab but apart from keyboard layout and hostname it's all vanilla.
