Arch Linux on a NAS: recommendations

Postby dtw » Sun Apr 24, 2016 12:42 pm

Our NAS is a good 5 or so years old now and I'm getting pretty worried that I can't update some of the software that's been shown to have critical security issues in recent years.

I'd quite like to have a NAS I can run Arch (which I know well) on out of the box. Googling shows a few possibilities but I was looking for any recommendations from the community.

The question comes down to your needs:
- Capacity
- Throughput
- Cost
