Error after system update

Postby theviper06 » Mon Apr 18, 2011 11:51 pm

Hello,

after "pacman -Syu" to the newest files I have this errors in the system log:

My dockstar has become very unstable after last kernel upgrade. No idea what happens, it just stops responding, perhaps a kernel panic.

I noticed the same warning on my Plug V2 but so far it is behaving just as well as it used to and even better now that it looks like there is proper support for one of my wireless n usb adapters.

The kernel warning is OK, nothing to worry about. It's an issue with syslog-ng that is known about, and a fix should be coming down soon.

New .38.3 kernel is up, and does not have the issues the first release did with lockups. Cheers.

Don't know if it is related to the kernel or not (updated after the new 2.6.38.3 went up), but my plug has crashed once tonight... first time in a long time. Plugging usb keyboard in to ctrl+alt+delete didn't work, it was really locked and had to power off.

Could also have something to do with my recent use of the wifi adapter/hostapd but I didn't see any signs of problems like that in the last few days when using 2.6.38.2. Couldn't find any evidence in the logs.
