Aforementioned tutorial: https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... mebook-c11
I've been trying for the last 36 hours straight to get Arch Linux onto my Hisense C11 Chromebook. I've tried this tutorial multiple times as well as other tutorials over and over and over and over and over and over again.
This is driving me nuts.
I've gotten to the point of frustration especially with the linked tutorial because nothing seems to work and this one is specifically for the Chromebook I've gotten my hands on.
The part I get stuck on is within "Create a root USB or SD for dual booting"
"1. Get a root shell as described in the previous section." Okay so do, Shell then Sudo Su? No problem.
"2. Since ChromeOS will automatically mount any partitions it finds, unmount everything now:"
"umount /dev/sda*" or "umount /dev/mmcblk1*"
This is where the problem in this tutorial persist. When I do shell, no unmount command. When I do Sudo Su, no unmount command.
I've tried a 4GB USB, and a 2GB Micro USB. Nothings working.
