Mount NTFS external drive

Postby vasanthk » Wed Jul 26, 2017 12:38 pm

Hi , I am trying to mount NTFS external drive automatically in rpi using udevil. But failed.So checked manually and found ntfs not getting recognized. On attempting to install ntfs-3g getting error message stating one of the dependencies is not available. Any alternate options to complete the auto mount task.?

$ lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 931.5G 0 disk
`-sda1 8:1 0 931.5G 0 part
mmcblk0 179:0 0 14.9G 0 disk
|-mmcblk0p1 179:1 0 100M 0 part /boot
`-mmcblk0p2 179:2 0 14.8G 0 part /

$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media
mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs'

$ sudo pacman -S ntfs-3g
