AC Ryan Veolo - ARM Cortex A9 1GHz processor 512MB

I have old Veolo ARM Cortex A9 with android 2.2 version (Froyo). because the OS version is lo longer support with the latest apps, i want to used this as a thin client with linux OS. is it possible to install Archlinux ARM OS to this device?

I have try this step but fail to install
- create the installation on SD card with this file : ArchLinuxARM-armv7-latest.tar.gz using this guide https://elinux.org/ArchLinux_Install_Guide
- Hold the power button for about 3 second, the android recovery logo appear but not running from SD card.

Please help
