ArchLinuxARM-rpi-2-latest.tar.gz broken?

Postby kieselsteini » Thu Jun 07, 2018 7:16 pm

Hi there,

i wanted to install ArchLinux ARM on my RPi2 and downloaded the ArchLinuxARM-rpi-2-latest.tar.gz as described in the install guide. But extracting the archive always shows me this error message:

drwxr-sr-x+ 0 root 984 0 Jun 6 05:06 ./var/log/journal/
-rw-rw---- 0 root docker 0 Jun 6 05:07 ./var/log/btmp
drwxr-xr-x 0 root root 0 Mär 11 20:24 ./var/log/old/
drwxr-sr-x+ 0 root 982 0 Jun 6 05:06 ./var/log/journal/remote/
bsdtar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.

I downloaded the file twice but still get the same error :(

Using "normal" tar says nothing but complaining about special headers it doesn't recognize but stops at the same file.

Thank you for your help!

Can you link the install guide you mean?

I have just set mine up four weeks ago and I did not need to extract any tar files...
