how to pass parameters to the kernel

Postby archimede » Fri Jul 19, 2019 9:49 pm

I want to disable audit. Searching on this forum I found the suggestion to add the argument audit=0 to the kernel command line in cmdline.txt

The problem is that in my boot directory, there is no cmdline.txt file. The boot directory only contains zImage, initramfs-linux.img and a directory dbts, containing all the dbt files.

How can I pass parameters to the kernel?

U-Boot will pass the parameters to the kernel. U-Boot is different for every device we support, so it may be different how you would set it up on different devices. Telling us what device you have would be a start.

Better you post$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '$ ls /boot/*')
